So it's someone's birthday today, but unfortunately, someone's also having exams, so no celebrating =P That's alright, we'll celebrate some other time, after all exams are out of the way~

It also happened to be Red Nose Day... sometime. I forgot when. We were selling this at work, so why not get a cute mascot and help donate something to the poor kids.

Somehow I was reminded of that one time when I was out.. somewhere, with some people... I don't even remember that much anymore, all I remember was that we were looking for a waterfall, and walked ages to find it, but we never found it in the end and it was a massive disappointment. This time, we were told there was a waterfall. There was even a sign called "Waterfall" on the map.

My friend actually trusted me to drive within the national park, and because we didn't have a green P plate (yes, I'm still on my P's, stop laughing you), I drew one using a green pen on a piece of paper and stuck it behind the back licence plate of the car, half-expecting it to drop off anyway, but I prefer to think I did try at least something to abide to the law.

To get to this waterfall, SOMEHOW the gps led us outside the national park, out onto the freeway where it's 110km limit (note: green P's only allowed 100 max, and yes, I was still driving), and it was an hour before we realised... it's wrong. Turned back, another hour's worth of driving.

I thought my green P drawing would have flown off to Wonderland by now. It was miraculously still there when we finally arrived at the destination. In one piece. And yes, that is an achievement.

Too bad, it was actually getting quite dark, and the trail that goes down to the beach isn't lit at all, so we were kinda rushing for time, trying to take photos before it got completely dark. This was at around 4:30pm. COULD have made it two hours earlier, damn that gps.

To get onto the beach area, we had to cross this puny plank. It was really just a short distance which can be covered with two steps, but honestly, with running water underneath, it was still quite scary, especially with bags and tripods and everything.
